Terms of use
Last updated 2026-10-20.
Sociography is a private tool run by snout ("the operator") for publishing to accounts the operator owns or administers. It is not offered to the public. These terms apply to anyone who connects an account to it or uses this website.
Use
- Connect only accounts you own or are authorised to manage. Connecting an account means you authorise the tool to post to it, as described in the privacy policy, until you disconnect it.
- Every post is shown to the operator for approval before it is scheduled, but you remain responsible for what is published to your account.
- You must follow the terms, policies and community guidelines of each platform you publish to (including Meta's and TikTok's), and applicable law. The tool does not and cannot override a platform's rules, limits or reviews.
- Do not use the tool to publish unlawful, deceptive, infringing or harmful content, or to spam.
No warranty
The tool is provided "as is" and "as available". Posts can be late, fail, or be rejected, for example if the computer it runs on is off or offline, or if a platform has an outage, changes its API or limits an account. The operator does not promise that any post will be published at any particular time, or at all.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of reach, revenue, data or account standing arising from use of the tool. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending
You can stop at any time by disconnecting your account (see data deletion). The operator may disconnect an account or stop the tool at any time.
Changes
These terms may be updated; the date above shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you use the tool as a consumer in another country, you keep any mandatory rights you have under the law where you live.
